Need some expertise!

First, allow me to vent for 2 seconds. Steve is such a whiny bitch sometimes, it drives me nuts! He was supposed to start work at 7:30 this morning, but because he went to bed too late, and had a hockey game last night, he emailed his work (at like 7:15!) to tell them that he was going in at 11. Fine, whatever. He tells me this and crawls back into bed.

Owen started stirring in his crib, and while he was fussing a little, he wasn't crying or anything. In fact, I slept through most of it, so I doubt he was making that much noise. Steve started bitching about how I've let him whine for like 40 minutes, so I get up and get Owen to feed him. I sit back down on the bed, and then Steve starts whining about how he's trying to sleep and Owen is making too much noise. Your ass should be at work right now, don't bitch at me!!! Jerk.

Anyway, so onto the need for expertise. I'm going to be cutting my hair. SHORT. I need some serious ideas that won't make me look like 1 - a lesbian (I have nothing against lesbians, I just don't want to look like one), 2 - a boy (I have nothing against boys...;)). It also needs to be easy to maintain. Bobs, pixie cuts, whatever. Pictures would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I just cut my hair short, so I'll tell you what I did. :) I really like my hair person. She's really good and I totally trust her judgment 100%. So when I went in, I told her I wanted to cut my hair off and asked her what she thought I should do. She gave me two choices (she always does this when I ask her opinion). She said she thought I would look good with a sort of bob that was a little longer in the front or a more choppy cut that flipped up. I chose the first. She said the first was a little edgier so she thought that was good for me. Of course, I completely love it. If I don't blow dry it it flips up--which I like. I usually blow dry it though (but I only wash my hair every other day). So I would say, if you like your hair person, ask what they think. But go in with some ideas. I never take pictures because it's nearly impossible to get the same thing--different hair texture, it looks different on different faces, etc. Plus celebrities always look good so it's always a little bit of a let down.

I think I just need to do that too. This is a new lady I'm going, but she cuts Steve's mom's hair, and she says that she does a really good job.

Jen's hair looks great; that type of cut is what I was thinking when I first read your post. Katie Holmes just got her hair cut really short, too, and I'm sure you'll be able to find a ton of pics of her if that's the look you're going for.

I *just* got my hair cut off on Sunday. I will have to post pics tomorrow. I used pics of Kellie Pickler's hair from the CMA awards if you want to google it. Mine is about 2 in. shorter than hers.
