Sleepy Monday

Owen got up like 4 times last night, which makes for one sleepy mama. I'm lucky that I don't have a kid who wakes up at 6:30am everyday, but even still, I have such a hard time getting up in the morning. Usually Owen will sleep until about 8:30 or 9, but today, it was like 7:45, blah. He's sitting in his high chair right now, eating some banana in his mesh feeder because the avocado wasn't going over too well today.

I joined yet another mom's group (actually, I tried to join 2, but I don't know what happened with the other one), and now my inbox is getting flooded with meetups, yikes! Plus, they're a little further away than the other group that I joined. But Jennifer rancid13 is in this one, so I thought I'd go on the days that she's going so that I have someone to talk to.

This little ball is the coolest. Steve originally got it from Bed Bath & Beyond, but now they sell them at Babies R Us. It's great because it's squishy, and it's really easy for them to grab and fling around:

Thanks! I know, I've created a horrible TV habit with this little one. I try to hold out as long as possible during the day, but that usually only lasts until about 12 or 1.

Today was an early day for us too, bleh. I had my alarm set to go off at 7am so I could get up and showered before getting Tyler, but he decided to wake up at 6:45 instead. He was in bed very early last night though, at 6:40 so that may be why. You can log into your account on Meetup and choose not to receive the constant emails. I try to view each group's calendar about once a week to see any upcoming events that have been added since my last visit. I look forward to hanging' with you guys at whichever ones you're able to make! :D

Unfortunately, I don't know what the ball is called :(. And I can't find it on the BBB or BRU websites.

I got the floormat at Sam's Club; it comes with 8 pieces, and it's reversible to also be used as a mat for fitness equipment.

Have you tried the MOM's club of Lakewood? I really like them a lot, everyone is very welcoming and there is an activity planned just about everyday!

Sorry you had to get a little earlier than expected. Benjamin got up early too at 7:30am but then had a 2 hour nap from 9-11am.

I'm really spoiled that he sleeps in as late as he does, but the problem is that he doesn't nap very well during the day, so it makes for a very long day sometimes. Thanks! I joined a local moms group. If you go to www.meetup.com, you can probably find a group in your area.

I know, I really am lucky, especially because I'm the most anti-morning person there is. It probably wouldn't be so bad if he slept through the night, or at least napped better during the day. Maybe I should start sleep training with him.
