district12ravenclawSo much for needing the doctor! My water ended up breaking on its own about 15 minutes before the doctor arrived. When he checked me, he said I was 4cm dilated and 75% effaced.
After my water broke, my contractions started picking up to every 3-4 minutes. At first, they were pretty tolerable, but they got tough soon after. Owen was having some late decels, so they gave me oxygen, which seemed to help a lot.
At one point, the contractions became too much to handle, so I ordered my epidural. Oh my God, this thing is heaven! At first, only my right side was numb, but my left soon followed. I am completely in love!
I just got checked again about 20 minutes ago and I am now 6cm! But I'm still at -2 station, so I may have a ways to go still.
