Oh no you don't!
Dec. 22nd, 2007 08:40 pmI fear I may be getting sick. Fantastic. I've got a nearly 6-month-old baby, and I'm hosting Christmas for 23 people, 1/4 of whom I did not invite. I CANNOT be sick right now, blah. My ears hurt and my throat hurts. I will cross my fingers that I wake up feeling fabulous tomorrow.
If I don't end up sick right now, I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before I do get sick. Today, as I was standing in line to get lunch at Jack in the Box (I probably deserve it for eating such horrible food), this lady was standing in line behind me, holding her daughter, who sounded like she was dying of something awful. She had the most horrible cough, and every time she started barking, I inched forward in line just a little bit, hoping to avoid the fallout. I took my sweatshirt off as soon as I got home, and seriously contemplated taking a shower. And then that stupid lady sat down in a booth next to a woman with two young kids, one of which was a baby. Hello!
