Randoms

* I'm picking up Owen's portraits today, yay! I'm going to see about getting them posted online so that I can share them with you all.

* I bought Owen two super cute outfits from Target yesterday. Shh, don't tell Steve ;).

* Owen is going to be a giraffe for Halloween. We bought his costume from Babies R Us a couple of weeks ago. Fun!

* Steve is working late all this week and next week, because the new semester is starting. I told him that I didn't care if he ignored me, but it was important to spend time with Owen. He told me that he really took that to heart, so when he got home last night, he held Owen, fed him a bottle, and just spent lots of time with him. It was so sweet.

* Owen was a bear yesterday. He slept for a total of maybe an hour and a half, which made for a tiring day.

* In non-Owen news (I'm sure some of you have been dying for this moment!), my parents and youngest brother are leaving tomorrow for Hawaii. I was invited to go along, but decided not to. The recent hurricane and earthquake have me a little concerned, but I'm sure they'll be fine.

Stupid JCPenney

I went to pick up my portraits today, and when I got there, I asked them about the Smiles by Wire program, which allows me to post the pictures online. The girl told me that they can only add that at the time of the original order. They never offered it to me in the first place, so I got screwed! I'm so pissed.

I swear I was there!

Next summer, Steve, Owen, and I, along with my family, are going to Toronto to visit the Hockey Hall of Fame. We'll be taking a train to Chicago, then driving up through Wisconsin to visit friends and family, and then through Minnesota and into Canada. Because of the new restrictions, we all have to have passports to enter Canada. I have a passport from when I went to Europe 10 years ago, but it has since expired. I just dug it out so that I can renew it, and I noticed that there are no stamps in it! I've been to 8 countries in Europe, and nothing to show for it, so weird! The only stamp in there is from US Immigration, when I entered the country again. I guess it was because I was on a tour bus the entire time, and they just glanced over them to make sure we had a passport. Bummer, I wanted some stamps!
