After my little adventure with the RhoGAM shot yesterday, I was hoping that we were done with the big expenses. WRONG! We still have to pick up our furniture, which is about $800, but at least we'll be getting money from our parents to cover that. This afternoon, when Steve came home for lunch, he told me that he heard back from his contractor friend who is going to be walling up the extra door in our nursery. He told us it would be about $400 or so, but it turns out that it's going to cost $740! Ack! When it rains, it pours around here, damn!
Luckily, it seems that some of that money will come back our way. Our parents are going to pay for the furniture, so that will be a net of $0 spent. I'm hoping to get money back from insurance on the RhoGAM shot, though I have no idea how much we'll get back. At this point, I'll be happy to get anything. And we're having our taxes done on Saturday and should be getting something small back, so that will help too. After this, we don't have any large expenses planned, so we should be okay once we get through this month.
