Mi vida loca

In the past 21 days, I've had 2 days off. I think it's finally starting to catch up to me because I feel like hell. I woke up with a sore throat on Saturday, and it hasn't gone away. In the past hour or so, my nose has started running, and now I have a headache. And I'm still expected to make dinner. Fantastic.

I've totally overscheduled myself with working these three jobs. On Thursday, I was told that the other woman who works weekends with me quit, so now I'm the only one working weekends. That means I work from 8am to 9pm on Saturday, and 10am to 9pm on Sunday. It couldn't come at a worse time too. My friend Marcie's husband is coming home from Iraq on Wednesday, and they are having a party on Saturday to celebrate his return. Since there is no one to cover me, unless they hire someone by some miracle, I won't be able to go. And I feel like it's such a cop out to say "I can't go, I have to work." Ugh.

My temp job has started out pretty well. I was only supposed to work 4 hours, but of course, they want me there more, so it looks like I'll be working full 8-hour days. So much for my sanity.

It's only 4 months. I have to keep telling myself that. In December, this will be all over.
