May. 23rd, 2006 07:16 pmOh man, my Ducks are not doing well right now :(. We let in a totally bullshit goal, and then Edmonton just scored on us again. We have had so many chances, we have to get one eventually! And can I just say that Roloson is a total bitch? No one's helmet should be falling off that much. And holy shit, Edmonton just scored again, and Steve flipped the bench over. Lovely. That boy is going to have a stroke.
In other news, allow me to be petty and selfish for a minute. A week from today is my birthday. I'm a big believer in the idea that people should not have to work on their birthday. Before I was able to say anything, a case was scheduled on my birthday. Well crap, nothing I can do about that. I'm bummed, but that's how it goes.
Today, my boss came in and told me that the lady decided to have more procedures done. In addition to a facelift, she's having a browlift, and some other minor stuff. These are long cases, so I'm probably not going to get home until about 7pm. I'm so incredibly bummed about this. I want to be home on my birthday, and instead, I'm doing the longest case in the history of the world. I just want to cry.
ETA: Holy shit, we've scored 3 goals, and it's a 4-3 game now! If it wasn't for that bullshit first goal, we would be tied right now. We could actually have a chance here! I hope so, because I seriously think our neighbors are going to call the cops on Steve because he won't stop screaming.
