Why am I here?
Apr. 26th, 2006 03:14 pmI got called into work today at the plastic surgeon's office. Fun stuff. I'm getting paid $22 an hour to babysit the office. I guess I can't complain about the money, and it's only for 4 hours, but I'd so rather be home right now.
Steve called me earlier, asking if he can go to a poker tournament tonight. I should've said no. I wanted to say no. I even said no. But then I told him just this once, because it was only $25 to play. And that he owes me big time for it. Why am I such a freaking sucker? Why can't I ever just say no and mean it? I'm going to be the worst mother ever if my kids ever catch onto that. Must be more strict with my usage of the word no.
I'm not sure if I ever mentioned this, but during my first weekend working at the dealership, I tweaked my neck or something, because I don't think the ergonomics are very good at that desk. It's almost 2 weeks later, and my neck is still bothering me. What is up with that?!
In other news, Alias is on tonight, woo hoo :D! I'm also going dancing tonight, so Alias is on the TiVo. I can't believe I'm not staying home, considering I've been waiting forever for Alias to come back, but I can't skip out on dancing every week. Besides, that's the only exercise that I get :p.
