* Friday afternoon, I got the call that our nursery furniture was in, woo hoo!

* Friday night, we went to the Ducks game, where we smoked Edmonton 5-1. Winning feels good.

* Saturday, I went down to my mom's house because she was hosting a scrapbook party. I ended up getting sucked in and basically spent almost $100 on paper and stickers. I also got a trimmer, some pens, and an adhesive roller, but everything else was paper and stickers. I can see how this can get out of control really quickly. My mom also got some free credits because of the volume of sales, so she got me a baby blue book that I'll use for Owen's first year. The paper set I got is a baby boy set, and it's super cute.

* While at my mom's house, my dad came up to my house to finish the iguana cage. It looks great! Bogey still doesn't look too convinced, but I think she's getting used to it. I have pictures; I'll post them later. We took my parents out to dinner to say thanks for putting the cage together. I had my favorite lemon linguine with artichoke hearts. To die for!

* Sunday was a baby shower for Steve's co-worker, who I attended pregnancy fitness classes with. Holy crap, this thing was bigger than my wedding! She said there were about 200-250 people there, crazy. They did a game for the pregnant girls called Baby Price is Right. We had to guess the price of the object, and whoever was closest, won it. I sucked and got them all wrong except for 2, so I ended up with a bottle brush and a cute little fleece blanket.

* Tonight is our first baby class! Tonight, we're taking Baby Care Basics, and we have to bring a doll or a teddy bear the approximate size of a baby. I have a feeling I'm going to be walking out of there feeling like a total dork :).

* Right now, I have AOL Radio tuned to classical music, and I have the headphones on my belly. Yes, I'm one of those. When I first put them on, Owen was bopping away, so he either really liked it, or he was kicking me to tell me to turn it off. Steve is guessing the latter :).

I know it!

I hope I don't go too overboard. Then again, I'm one of those people who never finishes projects, so maybe that will be a good thing this time :).

Oh ya scrapbooking is very addicting and it's so easy to drop a ton of money real fast!! I just scored a lot of great stuff from my CM consultant who was quitting and I can't wait to put it all to use!! What brand was being hosted??

Holy cow 200+ at a baby shower??? That's crazy!!! She must be covered from birth to 5 years LOL!!!

How did your first class go???

It was a CM party; that's awesome that you got stuff from your consultant!

I couldn't believe the number of people at this shower. She didn't want to have to deal with her work throwing her a shower, her husband's work throwing her a shower, and her friends and family on top of that, so she combined all three into one huge shower. And boy was it huge!

Our first class went pretty well! There were three teenage girls in the back; two who were pregnant and one who had just had a baby. I just felt badly for them, because they seemed pretty immature (the one who just had a baby whispered "bitch" really loudly as she left, though I don't know who that was directed towards).

Have fun at baby class, and do't worry about feeling like a dork! I felt like more of a dork in the hospital after Claire was born, and I had to ask the nurse to show us how to change her diaper!!!!

Class went well, and I ended up hiding the doll in my jacket so that no one would see it, tee hee :).
