We have a name!

We were going to keep the name a surprise per Steve's mom's wishes, but he told her last night, so that has now gone out the window. I could make you all guess and have a little fun with it, but I'm heading out the door in a few minutes, and would hate to make you wait all day for the answer. That's just the type of girl I am ;). So without further ado, Ducky's name is going to be...



Owen Nathaniel

We're about 95% sure of it right now. Our dark horse name is Nathan right now, so I guess we'll wait to see if Owen fits him. I hope it does, because we bought the letters for his room last night.

Awwwww... My cousin Lisa's 18 month old son's name is Owen too...Owen Kenneth! Such a cute name. I love Nathaniel too. It's near and dear to my heart, since it has a strong association to my beloved Salem, Massachusetts (due to one of Salem's most famous residents, the great Nathaniel Hawthorne). :)

I meant that if this little guy comes out and he doesn't "look" like an Owen, then we'll most likely name him Nathan. Obviously, we would choose a different middle name, because Nathan Nathaniel would be kinda stupid lol.

I like both Nathan and Owen. They're a little more unusual but not weird. I like those types of names. You know people will know how to pronounce them but there won't be 5 other boys in his class with the same name.

Thanks! I like how they're both strong names, but not the super-duper popular ones right now, though Nathan was #21 on the SSA list last year. I believe that Owen was #37 last year, and Nathaniel was somewhere in the 70's.
