Back to the grind

I came back to work today, despite the 4-day headache that won't seem to die. Bummer too, because tonight was my friend's birthday party, and I had to call and cancel on her. Dance music doesn't do too well for my headache. I figure I can better spend the time at home now, catching up on things that need to be done around the house.
I can't believe there are only 8 more days until Christmas, I am so excited! I know I say that like everyday, but it's true! I still need to talk to my mom and figure out what everyone is supposed to bring.
Steve is off work all next week, lucky duck, so he'd better do some cleaning around the house. If I took 6 vacation days over the next two weeks (which I don't have because I used them all the week after Vegas), then I would've had 16 days off. Heavenly. But instead, I'm going to be here, blah. At least the boss is gone those two weeks, so I don't plan on working a whole lot.
