Inspired by rockysmomma, I decided to get my eyebrows threaded today. Keep in mind that I've only ever done something with my eyebrows once, and it was getting them waxed for my wedding. Holy shit, it hurt like hell! The tops weren't so bad, but when they were doing the area under the arch, I thought my eyeball was going to pop out. I'm not sure I'll ever do it again, though I doubt it would be this painful any subsequent times. Regardless, I look good :).

How strange, I really like the feeling from getting mine threaded! It's totally relaxing... but then again I've been getting the hair ripped out by wax for over 10 years too.

If you think that hurts though, don't ever let them thread your upper lip! Holy hell, when I had that done the first time I thought I was going to scream! :)

I think threading hurts more than waxing. The worst pain is getting your underarm waxed. I had that done before wedding too. Its far worse than bikini.

Ok, so I've heard of threading, but what is it exactly? I get mine waxed all the time, and the top doesn't hurt, but the bottom hurts and makes my eyes water.

See, my brows weren't so bad, just because I've gotten so used to them being waxed.

My upper lip though, was really sensitive. But since I didn't have to worry about skin being irritated like with waxing, it was worth it for me.

lol the more you go, the less it hurts! The lady who waxes my brows also puts some cream on it and massages my brows after she waxs them so they arent super irritated.

I've never had my eyebrows threaded..I don't even know if they do that around here! I always get mine tweezed since my skin is so sensitive.
