Hello ladies, just popping in for an update!
Me - I'm doing pretty well. It's tough adjusting to the new sleeping hours around here, but I'm managing. I know they say to sleep when the baby sleeps, but I just can't do it. I have a really hard time sleeping during the day. The soreness in my girly bits is getting better every day, and thankfully, it hasn't been nearly as bas as I thought it would be. Breastfeeding is going well, though I'm dealing with the cracking and bleeding nipples right now, which is less than fun. I've also got really horrible swelling in my feet, is that normal?
Steve - He's doing such a wonderful job as a daddy. He doesn't take to the late night diaper changes very well, but he's pretty content to do them any other time during the day. He just took Owen outside for a little walk up and down the sidewalk in front of our house, and said that he loved it, just looking around at everything.
Owen - Oh, how I love this little boy! There were a few times I would just get all emotional looking at him, I'm so in love! I get teary thinking about it even now. He's still got his days and nights mixed up, but for the most part, he's a content and mellow little man. This is about the time of day when he is most alert, and I can get some great pictures of him with his beautiful blue eyes open. He's being a little fussy right now, but daddy is taking care of him, so I'm sure he's fine.
