I just got a phone call from work, telling me that we have a case on Thursday. Nothing like a last minute booking to make things interesting. I didn't have to go back to the plastic surgeon's until the 11th of July, giving me a nice 2 week vacation. But a week and a half is good too :). Plus, it's good to get some hours and make some money. They booked two cases yesterday too, so I'm working the 11th, 12th, 13th, 20th, and 27th of July so far.

I finally was made a permanent employee at the dealership yesterday, woo hoo! I went to a two-hour orientation, and then I was out of there. Sweet. I may also be picking up some extra hours at the other dealerships to cover the receptionists, which is also pretty sweet. It's nice to have some money rolling in.

Steve goes back to work tomorrow for the first time in 2 1/2 weeks. He's popped in every now and then for an hour or so, but this will be his first full day. It's been really nice having him home. When he wasn't watching soccer, we were having a great time together, and we were getting along really well. I love that :).

Big anniversary this week for us. Thursday (and crap, I have to work that day) will be our 8 year dating anniversary. I can't believe it! Yesterday was the anniversary of us meeting online, today is the anniversary of us meeting in person, tomorrow is the anniversary of the first time we kissed (it was just a peck), and Thursday is the anniversary of us officially becoming a couple. Awwwww :).

Thursday is looking to be super busy this week. In addition to me having to work, and it being our dating anniversary, it is also the evening that we select our season seats for the Ducks. Our appointment is at 7:30, so I should be out of work well before then to be ready to go. Woo hoo!
