My Ducks lost tonight, so they're out of the playoffs :(. They fought hard, and it looked like a comeback was in the works, but in the end, they just didn't have it. On the positive side, I don't have to worry about anyone covering my shifts on the weekends, and the 7 games that our tickets weren't used for (2 games against Colorado, 1 game against Edmonton, and 4 games for the Stanley Cup finals), will go to pay for the rest of our season tickets. Sweet!
I forgot to mention the other cool thing I got for my birthday from my parents. When I was in high school, I was in marching band. At the end of the year, we always had a banquet, where we would get to watch our video from the year, complete with music, special effects, the whole nine yards. I had all 4 videos on VHS, but my dad went and burned them all on DVDs for me so that I could have a copy! We watched one of them last night; brought back so many memories :).
