Still sick. Thank God I didn't have to go into work today, because I wouldn't have survived. I can't touch my face during surgery, which makes for a miserable experience with a runny nose. I'm in better spirits today though, so I guess I'm on the mend. Steve continues to take good care of me, leaving a box of tissues by the bed, and picking up dinner so that I didn't have to cook tonight. I love him so much :). And I probably don't say that enough on here.
Speaking of Steve, apparently the boy wants to become an entrepreneur or something. In the middle of his boredom at work today, he started surfing the internet, and came upon the Chick Fil-A website. He then wandered into an area about franchise opportunities, and how you can become an operator for only $5000. Steve LOVES Chick Fil-A, and this would seriously be a dream of his. So right now, he's sitting on the toilet, working on the application. While he doesn't have any business management experience, he does accounting at work, he has an AS in math, has successfully (minus the gambling binges) managed our finances, and we also have a financial advisor. He's hoping that this will get him in, though it's a long shot, with only about 10% of applicants actually making it. We'll see. The good news is that since they're opening a brand new store right across the street from us, it looks like the owner of the one at the mall is going to move to this one, so they need someone for the mall store.
In other news, my baby brother called last night. Apparently, my cousin is back in the hospital again. I think I wrote about this, but when my cousin was in the middle of a wrestling match back in December, he started getting chest pains and lightheaded, and then blacked out. They kept him overnight and released him, but he ended up back in the hospital the next day. They never figured out what was going on, and every time they tried to give him an MRI, the machine was broken. So now, I guess the same thing happened again, when he was at church with my brother. Poor guy.
