Thunder and lighting and rain, oh my!

You know, as Californians, we are completely spoiled to have sunshine almost every day, with the exception of all the crazy rain we got this year. So it comes as no surprise that all of us are absolutely shocked and in love with this beautiful thunderstorm we've had last night and today! Yesterday afternoon, it was nice and hot. Then I started seeing people posting in here about thunder and rain. I figured that since I'm never lucky enough to be in the middle of it, it would pass right over us. Wrong! We got some healthy doses of thunder and lightning all night, and all morning. I was in heaven! I'm sad now because it seems to have gone away, poo. Bring back the thunder :D!

I applied for 6 more jobs yesterday, bringing my grand total up to about 20. AND I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING! I know I need to be doing more to pursue this, but I just don't know what I can do at this point.

I just bought 6 tickets to the home opener between the Anaheim Mighty Ducks and the Edmonton Oilers. So it will be Steve, me, my dad, my mom, and my two brothers. My whole family is Kings fans, so this should be interesting :). My brother said he's looking forward to the opportunity to boo the Ducks; I may just have to kick his ass.

I just got a phone call from one of my friends that I went to surgical tech school with, it completely made my day! He's this super nice guy, and along with another girl, we would all go out to dinner after class sometimes and just hang out. I haven't spoken to him in probably 5 months, so it was really nice to hear from him again. We're going to figure out a time for the three of us to get together for dinner or something, yay!
