Training day
Mar. 16th, 2005 12:13 pmToday is day 3 of training my replacement, and I'm already tired of her. She talks way too much, and she talks to me while I'm on the phone! Um hello, can you not see this thing attached to my ear? It's called a telephone, which means that I'm too busy trying to listen to the person on the other end to listen to you. Thankfully, I've showed her pretty much everything I do here, so I can leave her by herself to figure it all out.
We have another field trip at the hospital tonight, and I'm very excited! Since there are only 5 of us in the class, we will probably all get to stand in an operating room and watch a surgical procedure. Cool! I might also have to do my final procedure tonight though, so I'm a little nervous about that, because I haven't studied for it yet, and this is the procedure that we're actually graded on. I still have 4 weeks left in the class, so I shouldn't be taking my final so early. But if I do, then I get to relax a little bit before heading off to my externship. My teacher said that since our class is so small now, he'll probably teach us other various procedures too. Knowledge is power!
