It’s Friday, yay! This week seems to have gone by pretty fast, and last night, Steve said “it feels like I was just watching Desperate Housewives on Sunday night.” I’m glad it’s gone by quickly though, so we can get a start on our fun weekend! Since it’s a three-day weekend, there will probably still be quite a bit of traffic going out there. I’m just hoping we hit at good part of the day where it’s not as bad. Steve told his mom last night that we were going to Vegas, but he also told her that we were going with one of his co-workers and his girlfriend. He didn’t want her to think we were just going to Vegas to gamble, which of course, we are. She gets all anxious and preachy when he says we’re going to Vegas. I didn’t want him to tell her in the first place, but we needed someone to check on our animals.

Speaking of animals, we are going to be giving one of our cats back to his owner next week. Paco belongs to Donovann, Steve’s best friend, and we were asked to take care of him for a couple of weeks until he and his girlfriend could find a place together. Well, two weeks turned into 6 months. He called last night to tell us that they got a place, and that he’ll be picking up the cat next week. I’m totally sad about this; I love Paco. He’s only about two years old, so he’s still very playful, and he’s a very affectionate, sweet cat. Tracker won’t really have a friend now, since Minnie and Zero are a united front. I’m trying to convince Steve to get another cat, but it’s not working right now. I just hope that Paco is well taken care of. I know that Donovann really loves him, so I’m sure he’ll be fine, but I still worry.

My co-worker send me this link, and I love it! It shows a blank map of the United States, and then puts a state up at the top, and you have to drag it to where you think it goes. If you're super close, it will adjust it ever so slightly to fit, but if you're off, a red outline of the state will appear to let you know where to put it. Then it tells you your average error in miles. The first time I played, my average was 16 miles, getting 46 out of 50 perfectly. The second time I played, I got 49 out of 50 perfectly, and my average was 4 miles. I love this game!
