Is this California?

I love all of this rain! We haven’t had this much rain in California since probably the last time El Nino hit, which was 7 years ago. I’m sure that a lot of people are totally sick of it, but I just think it’s so pretty. I love listening to it. We have a tin awning outside our front door here at work, so you can really hear the rain hit it.
I was so tempted to stay home from work today. I’ve been under the weather all week, and while I haven’t really been sick enough to stay home, I have been sick enough to not want to go to work. When my alarm goes off in the morning, I usually (literally) hop out of bed and start getting ready. This morning, I lied in bed for a minute, then slowly got up. As I was putting my socks on, I just stopped to think if I really wanted to go to work. And somehow, I eventually ended up here. Blah.
Tomorrow, I’m taking my car in to get the window fixed. I can’t believe it’s going to cost us $350. It couldn’t come at a better time too. It rolled down a little by itself last night, which wouldn’t be such a problem if it wasn’t raining. I hope it’s not doing that right now, because the rain is coming down pretty heavily.
