Well isn't that a slap in the face? I once quite a job, I gave my two weeks and they said, today will be your last day. I didn't even get to do the last two weeks!

That is one thing I hate about employment here, it is at will. And I try to look at that when contemplating something like you were. I mean, yes you want to be loyal and all, but all the employer utimatly cares about is who can fill the job and what is best for them. Sucks.

But you can now enjoy your new freedom! And hey, maybe we can hang out more!
