Two reasons why I'm going to hell

1. On my way to Old Navy, there was a girl whose car was broken down on the offramp I was exiting. She waved her arms in the air, and then made a gesture that she needed to use a phone. I started to slow down, but I couldn't get over in time, so I just kept on going. That poor girl is probably still on the side of the road. I thought about turning around, but that would've involved getting back on the freeway going south, getting off on the next exit, then getting back on the freeway to go north.

2. When I was making my purchase at Old Navy, I discovered that I didn't have my gift card, like I had originally thought. I never bothered to check when I left the house, but I could've sworn I had it on me. So I paid with my Old Navy card instead. Oops.

On the plus side, I got 5 t-shirts (one of which was only $1.97!), 2 tank tops, a 3-pack of underwear, and a pair of jeans for only $93!

You're not going to hell for that...someone else can help the girl on the side of the road, you were alone and pregnant and who knows if she was really broken down, ya know? ;)

I went to dinner with some friends tonight, and they said that exact same thing! I just felt so badly for that poor girl.

Ha, so does that mean you have to go back to ON so you can spend your gift card? It is sad to say, but I would not stop for people on the side of the road. Too many possible risks involved.

I know, there's no way I can make up for it! Oh well, just means another shopping trip for me ;)!

I have to agree...I wouldn't have stopped either. So you are NOT going to hell. You made a wise decision. If anything, the next time, you could all the local authorities to go and assist her. That would have been my only thought on that.

FUN - shopping!!! Sounds like a good deal. Too bad about the GC - blame it on PG brain!! That's what I do!! HEHEHE

Well, I'm starting to feel better about it now, since that seems to be what everyone is saying about the situation.

The shopping was great, and of course, I just got something in the mail from Old Navy saying that all maternity wear will be 25% off in a couple of weeks!
