This is what some lady wrote about me on the Dr. Phil boards:

"I have to ask...What were you thinking, Dr. Phil?

Why didn't you ask that seemingly able bodied 26 year old woman why she isn't working? I cannot imagine being in a financial position like the one described by this couple and not contributing to the family bank account. What does this young woman do with her time besides obsess over a baby? And how dare she leave that man to shoulder the entire financial burden of this family alone.

Secondly, as a trained professional, have you not noticed in your years of experience, that the people who so absorbed with the "having" of a baby, are often times the ones who are the most disappointed in the reality of that baby?

The girl needs professional help. Please don't tell these ill equipped young people that all they need is a financial plan."

I need professional help?! Excuse you! No one really knows our situation, so it pisses me off that she was so cavalier in judging me, and I'm sure she didn't expect me to be on the boards to answer her "questions." Bitch.

He said that I worked part time, but he also made it sound like I just entered the work force. I've been working in various jobs for the past 9 years, and also have a college degree, and a diploma from another college. So I don't know where this lady got it in her head that I don't work at all.

It is easy for people to judge by just what they see on the show. Try not to let it bother you. You know they don't tell the whole truth on those shows.

BRU was great! A little slow, but what can you expect from a store that just opened like 2 weeks ago. I talked with another vendor who's done those events w/BRU for 7 yrs and she said this was the slowest one. Ah well, there's another one next month. Got a few leads though!

ugh. i've learned the hard way that whenever you make your ideas, opinions, and thoughts known to the general public, you're bound to get comments from the pineapple gallery. you've responded very elegantly, which is the best way to go, so go you :)

remember, you went to dr. phil for yourself. not for anyone else. you went to get advice and help on what is a difficult decision for you and your husband. the only difference is, dr. phil happens to be on TV and not in an office park. no biggie. :) but if you remember that, then the idiots with keyboards can just shove it.

The lady sounds exactly like a local mother I have been dealing with lately. Real PITA and totally into everyone else's business! Good for you for knowing that she is NOTHING and you deserve to know that she is wrong- you do have a job and are contributing, PLUS, well, I could go on and on...

ok so i was watching my tivo'd shows last night and i ALMOST deleted the dr phil episode. cause for some reason i thought your show was on thursday. dont ask me why. anyways i watched the head clip on what the show was about and luckly i saw steve and was like OMG this is their episode. i thought it was very cute. you guys looked great your makeup WOAH MAMA!!! you looks fantastic. loved it. cute outfit on you both truly a great segment. :) very cute! so congrats!!
