I noticed that you are a fan of Jennifer Garner and I saw you in another Jen community. We have a community totally dedicated to Jennifer Garner jen_fans and this community is really a part of Jen-Fans.com (http://www.jen-fans.com) and we will be updating often with new pictures and news.
We will also post candids of Jen and Violet often. We will have a weekly icon stillness and picture of the week where you get to vote for your favorite picture as well if you are interested.
Hi. You probably don't remember me but we were Someday Brides at the same time a loooooong time ago on WC. (My name was Jaeschelle over there as well.) I just wanted to say congratulations on your son! I would like to be added and follow along, if that's alright with you :)
Hey heather, what is the name of your friends blog..maddison Shaffer or something? I used to love it and can't find the link anymore. hope you guys are well!
I occasionally reference my "boyfriend" and while this man is an actual, living person (a college basketball player, to be exact), he has absolutely no idea that I exist and would probably be horrified that an old married lady like me thinks that he is absolutely adorable! My husband is nice enough to let me indulge, and likely hopes that he graduates very soon and disappears from ESPN.
Hi Heather....Sorry I haven't commented much, I just am not on LJ much anymore. Even though with each new year I try to make the commitment, I just don't have the time. I am sure you understand, having 2 children yourself as well.
Anyways, I wanted to ask you a few questions about Disneyland...I believe you've been there quite a bit. We are taking Charlotte for her Bday this year and I'm looking to get your insight.
When, do you believe, is Disney's slowest time of the year? Have you stayed at any of Disney's resort hotels? I'm wondering if its worth the extra expense for the "experience". Any tips you can give? I haven't been to Disney in over 15 years now.
Here's what we have planned: We will drive down Friday night and stay in a hotel so that we can get to the park ASAP in the morning on Saturday. We will stay the night Sat and head to the 2nd park on Sunday. Drive home Sunday night (exhausted, I am sure).
I would love to know your thoughts and would love to be your LJ friend again, if you see fit. I appreciate any help you can give me.
I think the slowest time of the year is around late January - early March. It's after the holiday rush, and before the Spring Break rush. I have never stayed at any of the resort hotels, as I have never lived more than 20 minutes away from the park, so I'm not help there.
As far as tips: 1. Get there right when the park opens, because the popular rides fill up fast 2. Get fast passes for the big rides (especially Radiator Springs Racers in DCA. At really busy times, the lines can be 3-4 hours!). You can only get one every 2 hours 3. Hit rides at typical lunch times, when the crowds might be smaller 4. Rides that always have fast lines are Pirates of the Caribbean, It's a Small World, The Jungle Cruise, and Haunted Mansion 5. You can take the monorail into Downtown Disney and back into the park, so if you need to escape to grab something to eat, that's a good way to do it.
