If you do decide you want her to do it, you could always ask her how much she'd want and go from there. If it sounds reasonable to you, great. If not, you can negotiate a bit.

Sorry to hear about Owen's crankiness. You know, with babies, nothing ever seems to last too long. When D has a bad day, I just keep telling myself, this won't last forever. I hope Owen is feeling better soon!
