1 month old!

Owen is a month old today! I had my 4-week postpartum appointment and everything looks good, yay! But I'm definitely not in any hurry to have sex again.

I can't believe it's been a month.

Glad all looks good for you! It's odd that you have a 4 week. Will you go back at 6? It's interesting. What if you were on disability? Would they just wait and send in the release that allows you to work until 6 weeks?

Oh and I hear ya on the sex. Jim and I joke that he's not getting any until October when we go to Las Vegas w/ out the kids. :) Well, he jokes. I'm not joking ;)

I would totally be the same way about sex. I can't imagine how people do it after a baby! I'd be scared!!! :) Did you tell Steve that you have the all clear or did you lie and say "they think we should hold off a bit longer..." LOL! That's what I'd be sayin'! :)

I just can't believe he is already ONE month old! Time goes SO fast after you have children! I look at Leah sometimes & say "where the heck did my baby go?" She is now 3!! Insane isn't it?!?!?!?!

I was just thinking the other day.... you should go back to Dr. Phil for an after show follow up! HEHEHE I don't know WHY I was thinking that but I was thinking that would be so COOOOOL!! HEHE

Yeah, time flies by the first few months so enjoy it!!

As for the sex part, I got cleared at my 6 wk ck up and still waited a few more weeks. [TMI] I have to tell ya that first time was torture!! I'd recommend having a few drinks before hand and use lots of lube ;O) [/TMI]

Wow, a month sure does fly by, doesn't it?! Glad everything looks ok. As for me, at nearly 8 months PP I still don't fancy a shag at.all. S literally has to beg and then I do the pity thing (like every other month maybe?). LOL! Try to take lots of pictures of O so you can look back and remember when he was this tiny! We have sooo many pictures of T but I'm so glad we've both been camera happy with him.

I'm convinced that my doctor's office is crazy the way they do things. My 4-week is all I have to do, no 6-week necessary. They do want to see me back in 2 months though to check on some granulation tissue and make sure it's healing.

October sounds good to me, hahaha! Poor Steve.

Steve came with me to the appointment, so unfortunately, I couldn't get away with a lie like that ;). I think he's pretty understanding about it though.

That pretty much sounds like the way things are going to go here :). I do feel like I need to take more pictures of Owen. I "only" have about 150 pictures so far. I just feel badly blinding him with the flash, and anytime I turn off the flash, my pictures turn out blurry.
