Billy Joel

Holy crap, Billy Joel was so amazing last night! I have seen him 3 times before, but I'm always afraid the concert won't be good, because he's gotten a bit older. Boy was I glad to be wrong. He rocked the house all night, I loved it! Of course, I had to be seated in a section with a bunch of fuddy duddies, so I didn't stand up until the last 5 or 6 songs. But when I did stand up, I rocked out big time. I must've looked like a hoodrat flashing gang signs.

He played some great songs, as well as some of his lesser known stuff. It was a great variety. He made sure to thank the fans, especially the ones in the nosebleeds. He said "I could use the money; you should see how expensive my car insurance is," making a joke about how he keeps crashing his cars. At least he has a sense of humor about it :).

I only have one video uploaded right now, as DropShots cut me off, and YouTube doesn't allow concert video footage, so I'm looking around for other sites to host my videos. This video is from his first song, Prelude/Angry Young Man. This guy is a freaking genius on the piano.

Dr. Phil

I just received an email from the assistant producer at the Dr. Phil show. Our air date has been bumped up to April 10th! Please set your VCRs and TiVos accordingly :D!

ETA: We were watching today's show, and they often have little banners at the bottom of the screen that talk about what the upcoming show topics are. After coming back from a commercial, there was a banner that said "Ready for a baby?" on it! That's our topic, they were talking about us :D!
