Retail therapy

I went shopping today :D! The majority of it wasn't spent on me, but it was fun nevertheless. First stop was to Babies R Us to buy some gifts for a baby shower I'm going to on Sunday.

Since I'm going to a baby shower, I needed something cute to wear, so I went to Motherhood and picked up this cute little number:

Oh, and I think I found a dress for my high school reunion! Does this look too informal for cocktail attire?

I committed a cardinal retail sin today though. I love the outfit, but the small pants were a bit snug, and the medium top was too big, so I bought the set with a small top and medium pants. Shh, don't tell anyone!

After Motherhood, I hit Old Navy with the intention of buying those adorable plaid shorts for Owen, but they didn't have any there. I ended up shopping for me instead, woo hoo! I got a pink tank top, a navy tank top, a white camisole, a pink t-shirt, and a 3-pack of undies, because the white pants on that Motherhood outfit are completely see-through.

I bought this for Owen while I was at Babies R Us:

In addition to that, and his Gymboree collection, he also has the following cuties.

From my parents:

From my friend Marcie:

The one on the right says "I play sports with Daddy." How cute is that?! I bought pants to go with them today:

Ooooo, cute baby shower outfit - and I love that dress! I think it would be fine for a cocktail hour. I mean, I wouldn't want to spend mega bucks for a maternity cocktail dress that I will only wear once, and I think this one is fancy enough. Just my opinion though!

Thanks! I don't want to spend mega bucks, and it seems like most pregnancy dresses, with the exception of Motherhood, are upwards of $100 or more!
