Yep, I've had her for about 5 years. I do plan on keeping it after the baby is born. I figure that salmonella is a risk, but she lives in a huge cage (once it's finished!) in our office, and she doesn't get out of the cage a lot, so it's pretty contained. Plus, there is salmonella in raw eggs and raw chicken, so that makes me feel better for some reason, I don't know :).
