Hello to my new friends!

I wanted to give a warm welcome to my new friends and tell you all a bit about myself! I'll do it in bullets to make it easier to read.

* My name is Heather and I'm 27 years old. I grew up in Orange County, California, and am now living just outside of Long Beach, California.

* I graduated college in 2002 with a BA in speech therapy, but after 6 weeks of graduate school, I decided that my heart wasn't in it. In 2004, I went back to school to become a surgical technologist. I started working for a plastic surgeon in December 2005 up until two weeks ago.

* My DH, Steve, and I got married on August 31, 2003. We met in an online college chat room, and have been together for almost 9 years. Steve works as a financial aid specialist for a local community college.

* We have three cats - Tracker, Minnie, and Zero - and an iguana named Bogey.

* We are big hockey fans, and have season tickets to the Anaheim Ducks.

* I love my TiVo! My favorite shows are Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Supernanny, Heroes, Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, Lost, The Office, and Grey's Anatomy. My favorite show of all time is Alias.

* We are expecting our first baby in June! I'm 23 weeks pregnant with a baby boy, and his name is going to be Owen Nathaniel.

* Both sets of parents live nearby, and we are incredibly fortunate for that. Steve's parents live about 10 minutes away, and my parents live about 30 minutes away.

Hi Heather! Thanks for the getting to know you post :) Things we have in common: my DH and i are big hockey fans as well (we have season college hockey tix), we're near our parents too (which comes in handy once the baby is here!)and I LOVE Gilmore, Lost, The Office, Grey's, and Alias. I look forward to following along :)

I got season one for Christmas a couple years ago and got so hooked, I had seen all of the series and was able to catch up with the finale when it aired on tv... ack, talk about tv overload!!

I used to host marathon parties at my house! I would have friends come over and we'd watch half a season at a time, and have a potluck. They were so much fun. We'd laugh at the absurdity of everything. I own all 5 seasons on DVD, plus the 5-season collector's set. I'm a huge fan :p. I've seen seasons 1-3 about 7-8 times!

I watch all of your shows that you TiVo except the Office. I haven't seen SN in awhile either, but watch it if it's on.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition makes me cry. Every.Single.Time.
GG - It's starting to piss me off lately with this Chris/Luke thing
OTH - I want to scream about this one. The whole Dan thing with Lucas' mom makes me nutty. I FF through most of it.
Heroes and Lost - Love them.
