Appointment details

I was so excited about posting about my baby boy, I didn't give any other details of my appointment! Here they are, in bullets.

* I've gained 1 pound over the last 4 weeks, so I'm up about 6 pounds total so far.

* My placenta was measured to be about an inch away from my cervix. As I grow, it will move further away, so no worries about placenta previa.

* Baby's looking great, all 4 chambers of the heart were there, kidneys looked good, brain looked good.

* Baby measured 20w5d at my appointment, so he's about 6 days behind, as I was 21w4d at the time of my appointment. Because it's within 9 days, they're keeping my original due date of June 17th.

* My AFP results came back completely normal!

I missed the announcement. Congratulations. I knew you'd have a boy! Glad things went well at your appointment.

I'm so happy to hear that all looks well with baby boy!! I was beyond happy when we got good AFP results b/c initially I had declined the test but took it after the u/s revealed cysts in his brain (which thankfully had dissolved by the time we had the next u/s 2 weeks later!!).

Hey! I just saw you post a comment on a mutual friends journal. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Im not sure if you remember me (QPDoll), but we were "somedays" together back on the WC and were married about the same time. Anyway, I remember how much you wanted a family and just wanted to say Congratulations to you!

Thanks! It's such a relief to get nothing but good news. I've been having a handful of BH contractions the past couple of days, but I think that's because I did all that walking around the Wild Animal Park.
