This is what some lady wrote about me on the Dr. Phil boards:

"I have to ask...What were you thinking, Dr. Phil?

Why didn't you ask that seemingly able bodied 26 year old woman why she isn't working? I cannot imagine being in a financial position like the one described by this couple and not contributing to the family bank account. What does this young woman do with her time besides obsess over a baby? And how dare she leave that man to shoulder the entire financial burden of this family alone.

Secondly, as a trained professional, have you not noticed in your years of experience, that the people who so absorbed with the "having" of a baby, are often times the ones who are the most disappointed in the reality of that baby?

The girl needs professional help. Please don't tell these ill equipped young people that all they need is a financial plan."

I need professional help?! Excuse you! No one really knows our situation, so it pisses me off that she was so cavalier in judging me, and I'm sure she didn't expect me to be on the boards to answer her "questions." Bitch.

ugh. i've learned the hard way that whenever you make your ideas, opinions, and thoughts known to the general public, you're bound to get comments from the pineapple gallery. you've responded very elegantly, which is the best way to go, so go you :)

remember, you went to dr. phil for yourself. not for anyone else. you went to get advice and help on what is a difficult decision for you and your husband. the only difference is, dr. phil happens to be on TV and not in an office park. no biggie. :) but if you remember that, then the idiots with keyboards can just shove it.

Thanks :)! There were other people who may have disagreed with our choices on the message boards, but she was just SO rude about it. And you're right, we did go for ourselves, and no one else!
